I am lower intermediate in speaking/list ening and beginner in reading/writi ng.
I am doing my PhD in Taiwan and plan to remain there after graduaation, so I am trying to review and improve my mandarin before returning. I will be spending one year in the States (job related) before going back.
I would like to invest as many hours as possible. I am the coodinator of a college language program and teach English and Spanish myself, but hope to use as much of my free time as possible to devote to my mandarin study.
I would hope to find credit or non-credit mandarin classes in the Philadelphia community area. Ideally, I would hope to find a comphrehensiv e and demanding program that really pushes me to work hard, study hard and improve myself!

I am currently a beginner to the Italian language, and would absolutely love to become fluent in this beautiful language. I want to learn simply to broaden myself as an individual, and to do something truely for myself. I would love to travel to Italy one day soon, and maybe even live there for some time. I am a beginner. I learn this language because I caught a hold to the way the japanese people talk. The areas that I may need improvement on is pronouncing or writing. I would like to at least have 2hrs of lesson time. There are no specfic qualities they can just be themseleves.
