I plan to move to Tokyo next April to commence a 6 month intensive Japanese course with the aim of then getting a job in pharmaceutica l research. I am aiming to get to JPLT level 3 (or ambitiously JPLT 2 in 1 yr) after the intensive course in Tokyo.
My level of Japanese is basic, now I have made a decision to move to Tokyo I am determined and focused to get my Japanese to the best level possible. I need help in all areas!
I am probably looking at dedicating 3 hrs per week in language lessons (preferably 1.5 hrs x 2 times a week). But this is negotiable.
I am looking for a patient teacher but at the same time will push me to achieve my full potential.

Marathi:
I work in Pune and have settled in the city. However, not being able to speak and understand marathi is making it difficult for me to mingle with people at social gatherings. I would want to overcome the same by learning to speak and understand the language as well as a local in this city does. I need help in being able to converse in that language and also gaining an ability to read and write in the same. I am ready to dedicate 2 hours a week with guidance on what needs to be done for the rest of the week, till I can converse with a reasonable degree of fluency. I would prefer if my tutor is a person who believes in teaching my practicising rather than only preaching about the language.

I am learning Japanese for personal reasons. I have some knowledge of the language but need more practice so that it will stay with me. My comprehension skills are better than my speaking abilities. I am also learning Japanese through Rosetta Stone, but it can be confusing. I am retired, so I have devoted most of the day everyday to learning the language. This is a priority for me.
I am looking for a tutor who has the same passion on teaching the language as I have on learning the language. A tutor who is patient and willing to stick with me until I have mastered lesson.
