I will be applying for a Fulbright grant to study and research Traditional Chinese medicine in mainland china or Taiwan for 2014. I need to learn Mandarin because some knowledge of Mandarin is preferred, and I need to provide a language instructor's evaluation with my application. My proficiency level is mid-level beginner and I can learn well. I need help with characters on the hsk exam and practice with all parts of learning conversation. I think a fast-paced and rigorous program of study equivalent to a college level language course is best for me. I want to dedicate 2.5 hours a week to private lessons.
