I am a beginner in all of the above languages. I would like to learn the languages above for career advancement and because of living in an area with a great variety of people from other countries, I have the opportunity to practice the language with those people.
I would like to devote 10-20 hours a week to learning any one of the above languages.
I work two jobs, so it would be difficult to devote more time.
I would like to learn the language from someone who is experienced in teaching correct pronuciation and can teach using a variety of methods. I learn language best by repetition. It is much easier for me to learn to read and write a language than it is for me to learn to pronounce the correct sounds.

I am probably between a beginner and intermediate. My problem areas that I need help in is grammer and conjugation of verbs. I am looking for an instructor who has a firm grasp of both Spanish and English and who knows how to tailor and adapt the lesson plan to the student's needs while making learning interactive and practical. I am willing to devote however much time is needed to learn the language.

I have read the great Mahabharata in English / Tamil. I have read commentaries on mahabharata by various authors in English / Tamil. Their perceptions and ideologies interfere in the way they explain the sutras. Somehow they seem to distort what actually is in the sutras because of the kind of variations I get to see. Hence I want to learn sanskrit to get a direct experience of Indian vedic texts like Mahabharata, Upanishads, Vedas, Puranas etc. This is the driving factor for me to look up for teachers in and around Boston area who teach sanskrit.

Cher Monsieur ou Madame
I have recently returned from a study abroad in Grenoble, France, and am interested in continuing my study of the beautiful French language. I consider myself to be of beginner/inte rmediate proficiency. I am currently applying for a job in which conversant French skills (and hopefully one day fluent French) will greatly improve my chances of not only getting the job but advancing within the company. I hope to discover more of France and believe that it is important to know more that one language with the hopes of conversing in the native language of the locals. The areas I am most interested in and which I need the most improvement are conversationa l, listening, and vocabulary skills. I would love to dedicate 1 to 3 hours of practice a week and would be willing to accommodate more hours if need be. The only qualities I look for in a teacher are a love of teaching and sharing one's culture and language, as well as patience and flexibility.
