i want to learn norsk there because i haven't met my biological father and he lives in Norway and wants me to visit in 2 years time. i want to study the language for at least 30 minuets a day if i can get online because my foster parents don't let me use the computer often but now want me to check my e-mail i can do this a lot more easily than before.i would like my teacher to be kind and understanding as well as patient.

I am a beginner student with no previous studies in Italian. I am a beginner. My primary language is English, although I've had extensive language studies in Spanish (many years ago in high school & college), so I am accustomed to learning a new language. I love it!
I want private 1:1 lessons only for conversation. I am looking for a teacher that will teach me conversationa l Italian....no t a structured 'school format' to pass an exam. I want to be able to listen & speak it...not just pass a test.
Pref erably, I'd like to work with someone in 1:1 private tutoring in person...but I'm willing to consider an online Skype situation, too.
I am willing to dedicate daily study time to learning this language and need someone who is willing to work with me often, be patient, and speak to me in Italian.
I am looking for a teacher that can clearly teach me the basics and who understands the needs of someone going over for short-term travel (hopefully a trip next year to Italy) and wanting to communicate with Italian friends locally in order to keep my skills up.

I am married to a Vietnamese national and wish to improve my Vietnamese skills in all areas but especially speaking and listening. I am self taught up to this point and learned what I know from friends and self study but feel I need more serious teaching to progress faster and develop a better foundation for further progress. I have good available practice with my wife but feel I need more structure to go with all the practice. I don't know what my proficiency rating would be but I can make myself understood and can understand many things my family talks about around the house concerning money, days of the week, food and other topics. I become quickly lost when in conversations at normal speed with strangers. I would like an experienced teacher who can meet my schedule at about 07:30 AM.

I would like to learn Japanese for both personal and career advancement. My entire life I have been amazed and interested in the Japanese language, but living where I do, my resources are slim. I intend on getting my associates or bachelors in English to apply to the JET program to teach elementary Japanese students English.
My proficiency would have to be beginner, I know very few phrases and words; my hirigana and katakana are both mediocre. Both grammar and conversation are beginner.
I'd like to spend as much time as my two jobs till allow, approx 14 hours a week
I'm looking for an instructor who will push me and make me keep going even after I'm frustrated.
