I am at a very basic level with my German speaking skills, and am learning because my partner of four years is from Austria and I feel it's very important to be able to converse with his friends and family. I definitely need help with grammar, and would really like to advance my german speaking skills to the next level. Our next trip back to Austria is next April, and I'm prepared to spend 30-60 minutes per day until then to get to the best level I can - hopefully one lesson a week and then practise daily. I'm looking for a friendly, relaxed teacher who uses a variety of different learning techniques (not all textbook), and would like to spend time on conversationa l german.

I am seriously considering moving to Germany in a few years for work and have never spoken a word of German in my life. I would like to be able to speak the language confortably enough for day to day living. I would like to take weekly lessons from a native speaker, given that the cost is reasonable enough for me to do so. I would like private lessons. I will need a strict teacher.
