I'm a british expat based in KL with no knowledge in Bahasa Malay. I would like to learn the local language to help me better integrate in to the local society for both work and pleasure.
I'm more interested in leaning the verbal language, rather than the written. For me, as a photographer verbal communication in Bahasa Malay is far more important than being able to write it.
I would prefer to learn as part of a group rather than as an individual and can be very flexible in the hours and times I can spend learning.

I would like to learn Bahasa Malaysia, because I will be here for the next 6 month on my sabbatival and would like to use that time to learn more about Malaysia. I do not have any knowlegde of the language, so I am a total beginner. If possible I would like to have my lessons 2 times a week.
I would apreaciate, if could get any personal reflection on my errors.
The main purpose for learning Bahasa is to be able to communicate to the people on the street.

My son (aged 9) and daughter (aged 5) are in an international school and have to learn Bahasa Melayu as it is compulsory for Malaysians. We do not speak Bahasa Melayu at home, so they have little to none comprehension of the language. They need to improve their overall understanding of the language to bring their overall Grade in class up. Lessons can be once or twice a week in the afternoons after 3pm.
