I need to learn Dutch for personal reasons. I am married to a Dutch citizen and I would like to improve my knowledge of the language. My problem is that it's hard to learn Dutch when you live in Texas. There is little opportunity to practice, listen or speak.

Although I know some basis dutch I am a beginner. I am wanting to move to the Netherlands so need the language to be able to get a job and survive. I would like an all round view of the language, grammer, pronunciation and general conversations . I work full time but am free any evenings and weekends and i have a car so can travel. I would be happy for contact in person or via internet, phone etc. I would be happy with one to one contact or to join a group. Please Help Many thanks Nicola

I would like to learn Dutch because my boyfriend is Dutch, and I might be moving in the Netherlands in a near future. So in order for me to be able to get a job there, I need to be fluent in Dutch (or at leats try to).
I am a beginner in learning Dutch. I listened to people speak while I was in Holland last May, but the grammar and the pronounciatio n are so far away from French that it was quite difficult for me to understand anything. I would need to learn everything from the start (like when teaching kids).
I am willing to dedicate up to 6 hours a week to learning Dutch, as I work full time. The lessons would have to be in the evening, as I work during the day.
I am looking for a PATIENT teacher, who knows how to teach and rech to students (not every teacher do), and makes his courses interesting and alive.
