Hello,
I am a complete beginner in Hebrew, but I have taken 2 years of modern standard Arabic. I am interested in learning Hebrew because I am writing an undergraduate honors thesis comparing different Middle Eastern literatures and I would like to know as much Hebrew as possible to be able to read some of the literature without translation. I am also hopefully going to Israel in August in order to complete an intensive Hebrew program in Tel Aviv. I am willing to devote several hours every day to Hebrew. I am looking for a teacher who will be willing to work very intensely with me.

I am a beginner and have never taken any courses to learn. My fiance is Swedish and there is nothing else I would rather do than learn to speak Swedish so I can speak with his family and friends when I go visit and when they come to Boston for our wedding next year.
