I am seeking to attend a week long intensive course of Mandarin classes in Shanghai to gain a basic level of proficiency, or 'survival dialogue', for travelling through China. I had previously studied Mandarin for a year at the University of Technology Sydney, am able to use about 1,000 words, and have a basic understanding of Cantonese.
I would appreciate teachers willing to teach in English in small class sizes during January 1, 2005 - January 8, 2005 to contact me to discuss this further.
