I am studying at the Temple University Japan campus for the spring semester (Jan through May). I am french. My husband is Chinese and we have a 2 and a half year old boy.
We are looking for someone to come and speak chinese to our son as his dad works a lot and his exposition to chinese (mandarin) is not sufficient.
he is very small so we are not looking for formal lessons but someone who could come to our house once or twice a week for an hour and a half each time and just play with him/read stories while speaking chinese to him.
We live in Arakawa Ku tokyo.
We would be paying 1200 to 1500 yens per hour. I would always be present in the appartment so there is not responsibily for the tutor of being left alone with a small child.
If you are interested or if you know anybody who would be interested please contact me. I think this would be a good job for a student, preferably a girl but a male student who enjoys talking to children would be ok too!

I have studied Japanese for about eight years, and I have lived in Japan. I would like to learn high level conversationa l and business Japanese. I would also like to pass the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) Level 2. I am at an intermediate level.
I began studying Mandarin Chinese at the same time as Japanese. I lived and studied at a small university in China. I would like to work on having high-level conversations in any setting. I am at an intermediate level.
I just began studying German. I began because I hope to visit Germany one day and live there for a short time. I am only a beginner in this language.
I am very serious about learning and would like to dedicate as much time as possible to maintain and improve my language levels.

I am going to move to Hong Kong or Shanghai, and most jobs require that I speak Mandarin. That is why I am learning. I do not speak any Mandarin, so I am a beginner. I would like to learn Mandarin properly- from the writing, grammer, pronounciatio n and speaking. I am willing to study very intensely to learn Mandarin quickly. I can spend several hours a day studying, and would like to have language lessons every day.
