I wish to learn Bosnian for personal satisfaction. Living in St. Louis, I realize that there is an incredibly diverse culture around me, Bosnians being part of that culture. I have many Bosnian friends, and wish to be able to communicate with them in their native language.
Although I have studied some of the language on my own, my knowledge of grammatical structure and vocabulary is incredibly limited, so I will need instruction in every aspect of the knowledge.
I am willing to dedicate 1-2 hours of self-study per day, but wish to meet with an instructor 1-2 times a week, preferably in person. Ideally, my instructor would have prior teaching experience, but is not necessary. However, must be fluent in the language - grammatically , etc.

I would like to learn Bosnian/Serbo -croatian, because I would like to be able to travel to the former yugoslav countries and communicate with citizens there. I am absolute beginner, although I have extensive foreign language experience and am a quick learner. I would like to improve my skills in all aspects of language: grammar, vocabulary, conversation, etc. I am currently studying and finishing up my MA, but could dedicate a few hours a week to studying language. I am looking for a teacher who is qualified both in the language and is a good teacher. I appreciate teachers who are honest, challenging, but also patient.

i'm in love with the whole bosnia and the language. most of my friends are bosnian and serbian. i'm really intersted in learning bosnian. i've been studying by myself i still consider myself a begginer i've learned the meeting and greeting, the week days, the numbers few common words. i want to get better with the language, i don't want to learn few words, i wana learn everything. incase i go to bosnia next year i'll be ok to speak with people

I am needing to learn Bosnian because I am constantly surrounded be Bosnian culture and 90% of my friends are Bosnian. Plus I dance Bonian Folklor. I am a beginner but I do know somethings. I am interested in learning to read and write Bosnian for social and conversationa l and purposes. I am a beginner and have no experience at all with the Bosnian language. Since I have no experience, I would prefer a teacher who speaks Bosnian as a native language so I can learn the proper pronunciation and tone. This is of course just a preference. At the moment I can currently handle 1-2 lessons per week in addition to personal study time.
