Having lived in Pune for several years, I understand fluent Marathi. However, I find it hard to carry out a conversation in Marathi, because I find it hard to get a grasp on its grammatical nuances. My proficiency in comprehension is high, but is low in terms of conversationa l skill.
The main areas I need improvement in, are in sentence formation and conversation. I would like to dedicate around 4 -5 hours every week for my lessons. The qualities I am looking for in my lessons and my teacher are a deep focus on the speaking and conversationa l aspects of the language, and very little time spent on the written aspect.
I would also appreciate a flexible pace, in order to focus more on the parts that I am weak at.

I have begun to learn Marathi to allow me to communicate with my future in laws. My fiancé does help me a little however she is currently in India and thus we get little time to practice. I am still an early beginner but I learn fast. I'd be willing to meet up maybe 2-3 times a week if possible. Preferably in the late afternoon/eve ning time after work, but am happy to change dates and times around the tutors schedule too.
