Hello my name is Damian Sutherland. I moved to Finland in February of this year from the UK and have decided to learn Finnish as I plan to live here permanently and it will also help with my business relationship building in Finland.
I am a beginner I am able to say the basics i.e. hello, goodbye, how are you and what is the time.
I really want to be able to construct sentences and have conversations .
In terms of how much time I can dedicate I feel 2-3 hours per week to start with and see how I progress.
Qu alities I'm looking for in a teacher is patience, being able to explain Finnish grammar and words in English so I develop the understanding of the language in a more constructive way.
