My daughter, 6 years old, and I have just moved to Japan. We are beginners in Japanese. I need to learn grammer, conversation, etc. My daughter does as well. We would like to have lessons at least two days a week, for an hour a lesson. I would like her to be able to start public school next year. My schedule is open. I can currently read and write hiragana, katakana and simple kanji but my conversation is not very well developed. Having said that I wish to learn all aspects of japanese, reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar.
I am looking to study about 3 times a week.
I am learning japanese as I plan on living in japan for many many years(My wife is japanese). I have currently been in japan for just over a year.
I would like a teacher who is serious about their teaching and teaches in an organized fashion. If the teacher can make the lesson fun, that is a bonus.
