khmer is such a beautiful language and I want to improve my poor knowledge of it because i love Cambodia and it´s culture. I spend alot of time in Cambodia ,but my language is still very poor. Im willing to study everyday, and i need a good teacher who can help me learning khmer language aboard, cause im staying currently in Europe the next 4 month. I can understand some, but i need to pratice more conversation.

I am a beginner. I have an eight-year-ol d adopted son from Cambodia. He does not speak Khmer. We have taken our first trip to Cambodia this year. We are in the process of buying a flat in SihanoukVille where he was born and where he has extended family. His 10-year-old sister may come to live with us. She speaks no English at this point. I am motivated.

I am a beginner.
As I will be posted to Cambodia to work in about 6-9 months time, I would like to be able to converse with Cambodians on a daily basis during the course of my work there. I would like to take this period of time to learn the language before I actually go there, even though I may be travelling there periodically in the mean time. My whole family will re-locate with me in due time.
I am willing to dedicate about 2-3 times per week, but I am open to the teacher's suggestion whether it is too much or too little time as my target is to learn it within 6 months.
Ba sic requirement of the teacher is first and foremost able to teach me to speak and understand and converse Khmer verbally (that is, normal daily Khmer conversation) .
Second part will be to read and write the written language.
I am 44 yrs old , my wife 39. We may want to learn it together, but that is yet to be decided.

I visited Cambodia recently and spent almost two months there. I was learning basic Khmer from a friend there, but now that I am back in Canada, I want to continue to improve my conversation and pronunciation .
I am willing to devote 3-4 hours per week to my studies. I am doing business in Cambodia so it is essential that I know the basics.

I want to learn Khmer so that I can converse with the locals there when I go on trips. I want to help the needy Cambodians. I am also thinking of doing documentary videos of life in Cambodia.
I especially want to learn conversationa l Khmer, though preferably to read and write as well.
