I am wanting to learn Serbian for both personal development and travelling next year. My level of proficiency is absolute beginner. Grammar, conversation and writing (to a lesser extent) are the areas I would like to focus on devloping. I am seeking to be tutored for two hours a fortnight (plus spending 1.5- 2 hours a day on my own) learning Serbian. I am looking for a teacher who is experienced, good at explaining things simply, and encouraging. I am looking for someone in Melbourne (can travel to the CBD but would prefer someone around the South Eastern suburbs).Pref er face-to-face learning.

I wish to pursue a career revolving around the language I study. I have been studying Japanese for 3 years at school and I wish to strengthen all skills that I currently have, speaking, writing culture etc. I feel as though I need to strengthen my skills I am studying Japanese next year in Yrs 11 & 12 and then on to University.
I am more than willing to dedicate as much time that is required to gain the necessary skills. My goal is to attend ANU when I leave year 12 in 2013.
I would prefer a teacher that is native to Japan and who is very kind. I would like to undertake face to face lessons with hand outs or books to take home to continue my study.

I plan on retiring in Thailand in a couple of years and would like to learn the basics of the language before I move there. Although I already know a little and am familiar with the tones, I would describe myself as a beginer.
I ned to learn Thai words and then start putting sentences together.

I speak Cantonese at an intermediate level and would like to improve and practice my Cantonese speaking more often. I only want to develop my conversationa l skills in Cantonese instead of reading and writing. I'm willing to dedicate about 2 hours a week towards learning Cantonese in person.
