I plan to learn Japanese for the following reasons:
- Great interest in the culture of the nation of Japan
- Personal advancement (looking to learn more in my extra time which will allow me to develop as a more interesting person)
- Future aspiration (upon completion of my bachelors degree I plan to go abroad)
I currently have no experience in the language, and will be starting out as a beginner. I am looking to learn how to fluently read, write, and speak Japanese in 1-2 90 minute lessons a week which I can practice in my own time. There are no particular qualities I hope to find in a teacher.
