My husband and I spent a month in Mexico this winter and plan to return next year. We would like to improve our Spanish before then. We are beginners. We would like to become more proficient with everyday conversation, but we would also like a basic understanding of verb conjugation and grammer. My husband travels for work so we would need a flexible teacher. We would like to have lessons once per week, although it may not always be on the same day due to my husband's schedule. We are looking for a teacher that is organized and flexible. Also, we would like a teacher familiar with Mexican spanish.

My Japanese language is at a beginner level. I have applied to teach english in Japan starting August 1st, 2006. I would like to become more fluent in Japanese because I will be living and working with other Japanese people.
My spanish is at a beginner-inte rmediate level. I have taken two university courses but I would like to improve my conversation skills.

I have conversationa l spanish, from 1.5 yrs in Latin America five years ago. I learned 'on the street' with no classes so I (a) want to improve my grammar/vocab ulary, and (b) refresh since I am out of practice! My immediate objective is to work on my spanish intensely over the month of February 2006 as I will be in Mexico for work in March.
I am looking for an instructor who will work with me primarily through conversation, and help me design my 'study plan' between our lessons. Our goal will be to help me become versent, particularly in my line of work -- water and international development.
