I am a college student in the Miami area and feel that by learning another language my social skills will improve as well as my career clientel. I am often mistaken for a woman of Spanish or Dominican descent. Learning another language is something that I have always wanted to do. I would like to meet a few days a week or on the weekends. I am wanting to learn Spanish for multiple reasons. I am a Public Health student at Tulane and am most interested in working in Latin America upon graduation. I have the possibility of doing a summer internship in Lima, Peru and would like to have a working use of the language by June. I have two years of college Spanish but am a beginner, especially in the area of conversation and grammar. I am interested in lessons that focus on conversation and proper grammar and am dedicated to learning. I would like to take lessons twice a week if possible. I have Spanish speaking friends who will be willing to supplement my formal lessons with conversation as well.
