I have accepted a job as an expat in Bangkok for two years and would like to be able to speak Thai. I will be a beginner. My only language is English. I am thinking of receiving personal tuition of 2-4 hrs per week, with other homework, CD's etc. My initial visit to Thailand will be one week late August, then full time from Jan 2006

I have been to Thailand many times over the past few years.
I know very basic Thai (hello, how are you ..etc) but feel that as I keep going there and now have many Thai friends I need to make a bit more effort.
Languages were never a strong point for me at school, but hopefully I can do a bit better with Thai as I actually want to learn to speak it.
I would like to spend an hour a week with a teacher.
