I have no background in learning another language. I can understand most of the portugues language and I am looking for to learn more about it. I will be visiting sao paulo in august and while I'm there I want to have a tutor. Or a school that offers short term portugues lessons; Four Weeks maximum to be taught.

Your proficiency level: my proficiency level is beginner.
Why you are learning your foreign language: Purely enjoyment. I have been to Mexico, Canada, Iceland, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Macedonia, Kosovo, Ireland, Panama, Somalia, Egypt and finally Turkey. The reason I decide to attempt to learn Turkish is because when I finish graduate school I’m planning to take a three week vacation in the Western Turkey. Turkey is by far the best experience I’ve had traveling. Just because I’m in graduate school doesn’t mean I will have the necessary time to learn a language.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons: After the first week of May I will be able to maintain six to nine hours a week for language instruction.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher: I’m looking for an instructor that is relaxed, makes things interesting, but is serious at the same time.
