I'm hoping to learn Korean for my fiancee. I lived in Korea for two years and picked up some very basic terms, and can read most characters, but its faded with time. I'm very dedicated to learning the language and the only issue at this point is cost. I'm hoping to spend a couple hours a week with a tutor accompanied by plenty of self-study. I'm hoping to find a tutor willing to help me learn every aspect of the language from a non-business, non-school, daily life standpoint.

I want to learn Korean because I really like the language and I'd like to be bilingual in something, and I also plan on at least visiting South Korea sometime soon. I am a beginner in the language, I know just a few words and can kind of read it. Everything, my pronunciation isn't very good and I can't write it. I am willing to give as much time as possible to this. I prefer my teacher to be male, I don't know why, I guess just because I'm male it would make me more comfortable around them I think.
