I am looking for a teacher for my 10yr old daughter to learn to speak, read,& write in Spanish. She had been taking private lessons during the school year 1x week/1hr but her teacher is going back to school. Prior to that she had taken 2 yrs/1x wk with group class after school. I would like to find someone she could continue to learn with over the next 5 yrs until she reaches high school. She know basic alphabet, numbers, colors, some grammer, writing and reading.

I would like to learn Chinese because the culture, people, and country fascinate me. An additional benefit will be career advancement- but primarily I'd like to be able to converse comfortably and understand TV shows & movies in Chinese.
I am a beginner with no formal education in the area of learning Chinese. What I know, I picked up when I travelled to Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong in 1998.
I would like to meet at least once a week- either early morning (7am - 8am) or just after work (5:30pm - 6:30pm). I prefer groups as I learn well by listening to others.
I would like my teacher to be witty, interested in the living Chinese culture, have travelled much, and one who enjoys working with a quick learner interested in a broad range of topics including current international , business, and cultural affairs.

I am interested in beginner level. I travel to China a lot and work with Mandarin speeaking employees. I have plenty of time during the week (Evennings) or weekends (All day).
