I work for the US subsidiary of a French skincare company and wish to learn the French language to better both my written and verbal communication with the home office. My proficiency level is beginner. I will dedicate the amount of time necessary for language lessons to truly 'take hold' - be that one to a number of hours per week. I am wanting to learn Italian. I will be a beginner in Italian. I am very interested in learning a new language because I want to open more oppurtunities for me in the future. I attend college so I want 3-4 hours weekly for lessons. The qualities that I am looking for in my classes are to be enjoyable and fun but at the same time to be very focus. I am looking to either take a class or have a private teacher to help me learn Japanese. I am definitely a beginner; however, I know some basic conversationa l Japanese, and can recognize a few kanji and most hiragana/kata kana. I woud like to be able to meet at least once a week. I would prefer to have a native speaker of Japanese teach me, but it is not necessary. I am currently 16 (a sophomore in high school); I am very interested in Japanese and languages in general (I'm taking a French class at the moment), and I will work hard to learn everything I can about Japanese!
