My poor mandarin makes it difficult for me to communicate with my peers. In addition, I am going to pursue medicine one day and I would need to know mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese patients. I am currently a beginner. I understand mandarin and I can speak very simple mandarin. Nevertheless, I would like improvements in my spoken, written and in reading mandarin. I am especially concerned about communication mandarin (speaking). I have about four months before my university begins so I would like to dedicate all that time to learning mandarin. My schedule is very flexible as I am on my holidays and I hope to have at least 3 lessons per week, each about 2 to 3 hours. I am looking for a teacher who is serious and dedicated to teaching. I am learning mandarin on my own initiative so I would like a teacher who's enthusiasm matches mine. Thank you.
