I am a 19 year male. I am not currently enrolled in college but I would like to do something with my day after work. I am a beginner in Greek. I learned the alphabet and the breathings and the dipthongs by my self I can pronounce alright. Usually I spend 4 hours a day on learning.
Th e qualities I am looking for are obiously that my teacher would have to know Greek inside and out and to be nice and funny also smart.

I am a software business professional with advanced beginner level Japanese conversation skills (I only read hiragana and katagana, no kanji yet). I lived in Tokyo from 2000 to 2002 as a business journalist. My current job requires a lot of communication with Japanese companies with some business trips to Japan. I would like a teacher who can give me organized grammar lessons from a textbook while also customizing lessons to suit my business needs. I would like someone who challenges me and gives me tests. I really need to build up my vocabulary and start improving my reading skills too. Ideally, I am looking for a teacher who has some professional teaching experience with some business background, but I am very flexible. Once or twice a week I would like to have 90 minute (flexible) lessons either at my downtown Los Angeles office or at some other private location.

I need to learn Brazilian Portuguese. Im a beginner. I have been to Brazil, 2 years ago for one month. I will be returning to Brazil in December 2005. My partner is from Brazil, and we will be traveling about once a year. I want to learn so we can spend more time there with his family. Im from California, and speak english. I want to dedicate alot of time learning. Depending on price.. I would like to have one lesson a week or 2 lessons a week.. or more depending on the overall recommendatio ns.
