I am learning a foreign language for career advancement. I took French from grade 4 to 12 so I think once I start again it will al come back, at least that is my hope. I would like to learn french to enhance my skills and because I think it's an important detail to put on my resume.
I have been learning french in school for 5 years but I think I still have challenges in speaking and understanding french.

I'm a junior high student, and I'd like to learn Japanese and French. I find both languages really interesting. I've had some French classes at school, but I'd love to go deeper into grammar. I've never learned Japanese, and I'd just like to learn how to write and read properly, and talk in casual situations.

One of the main reason I would like to learn more French is because I want to get a good grade in French 12 so I can use it as one of my provincially examable courses when I apply for Universities this coming 2010/2011 fall.
I have taken French 8-11. My marks for french ususally ranges between 60-75% ( This mark is not high enough to apply for a univeristy)
I would like to improve my French in all areas such as vocabulary, grammar, and speaking.
I would like to dedicate at least one-two hours a week with this language session.
The qualities I look for in my teacher would be patience. Generally I am a very slow learner, and may not get the material right away. Therefore, it would be nice if my teacher is understanding and has patience for my slow learning ability.

I am learning French for career advancement and because I will be moving to Quebec soon.
My proficiency level is somewhere above beginner but below intermediate.
I need improvement most in conversation, and to a lesser degree in grammar.
R ight now, I am able to dedicate a couple of hours a week to lessons, but the amount of available time may increase soon.
A teacher with patience and a sense of humour would be great.
