I am English-speak ing, but I need to start learning Bulgarian as I am marrying a Bulgarian and we will be visiting his family in Bulgaria every few years. I would like to be able to communicate with him and his family in their language, and when we visit the country I would like to be able to understand public signs, etc. I need lessons in vocabulary, conversation, and grammar, perhaps once or twice a week, depending on how long the lesson is. I am a serious learner, so I will try to work hard. I am looking for a teacher who is friendly and kind, but strict so I can be disciplined to improve. I would also like my teacher to be able to teach me first what I need to survive and then systematicall y build up my understasndin g of grammar etc.

I am wishing to learn Bulgarian, after many online and self study programmes i am still at the beginners stage. I have owned aproperty out in BG for the last 9 years and we are wanting to relocate. This will also help me with career advancement.
I am looking for a teacher in the Liverpool area were i may be able to have a couple of hours per week tution, this would have to be flexible as with my job i work 12 hour shifts and fummy hours.
if you can help me it will be great, i want to be able to hold full conversation with my Bulgarian friends, not just the basics. Blagodaria :-)

Total beginer in Bulgarian. I want to learn the language so that I can stay in my house in Bulgaria to work with the children out there in the orphanages. I initially want to get by in Bulgarian such as sentences before going on to learn the language at a more advanced level. I have got quite a bit of time on my hands therefore I could dedicate a lot of time to learning.
Th e qualities I am looking for in my lessons is to push me at every stage. With regards to the teacher I am looking to be tested frequent and to have prompt responses to my telephone calls or emials.
