I'm interested in learning Turkish so I can speak to my fiances family and eventually when we have kids, help teach them too.
I'm very much a beginer as I only know ~10 words and no gramatical structer etc.I will have him to help me practice though.
I' d like to sepnd 3-5 hours a week. This could be all tudor time or a combination of tudor and homework. I'm flexible until >7 hours a week total time needed.
As for qualities, someone with a strategic and well thought out lesson plan. Certified would be good, but probably not necessary since that may be tough to find.

I was born in Argentina, I grew up with my grandparents from Calabria. All they spoke was Italian with their children and grandchildren .
Now they passed away and my mother the only person that my sister and I had the chance to speak the language with also passed away six month ago.
Now we are the grown ups and I want to be able to teach my daughter the language of her ancestors... I can speak Italian, but I cannot write or read very well...
Plea se, I live in Miami Beach and I work in Miami, any of the 2 locations could be fine...

I am an absolute beginner, but committed and a relatively fast learner of languages. I do need the language for my job and would be willing to do 2-4 hrs a week of lesson time.
I am looking for a teacher who is as dedicated in teaching the language as I am in learning it. if he/she can also explain me the culture and traditions, I am more than happy.

I'm a beginner learning Arabic. I do know a few words, but really haven't gone beyond that. I speak Spanish and Japanese, and do work in Japanese translation. I'm quite interested in the languages of the Middle East, as well as the history and various cultures. At this point I'm particulary interested in spoken Egyptian Arabic and Moroccan Arabic. I would like to learn how to read, write and speak Arabic. I have several text books on the subject. I could meet one to two times a week, depending on schedule and cost. I would like to the teacher to be open, respectful and fun.
