I speak no Arabic, but I wish to learn. I have a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS in cardiopulmona ry science. This is just a personal desire and not for any career goal. I have a few hours a week I can devote to this, but I have a full-time career and a family that also vie for my time. I am looking for a tutor/teacher , preferrably local for face-to-face instruction, who is calm and collected and willing to teach an Arabic illiterate.

I have taken one semester of Arabic at the University of Wisconsin Madison and would like to continue studying Arabic over the summer. I'm hoping to find a language school in or near Milwaukee that offers summer lessons. If I cannot find a place to take lessons I'm looking for a nearby tutor or one who could teach either via email or phone, though I'm not sure how this would work and would like more information. I used the text Al-Kitab and did pretty well during my first semester. I'm hoping to learn more Arabic for sheer enjoyment of the language, and would prefer learning either Middle Eastern or Egyptian dialects.
I would also appreciate information about weekly lessons over email, or possibly in person in the Madison campus area.
