I am a beginner, wanting to learn another langauge for self-edificat ion. My younger sister and husband would like to take lessons as well, as my sister had been learning at school but will not be able to do it next term. My husband is a beginner, also. We would like mostly to be able to converse fluently in German. We are all wanting to do one lesson a week, at this stage. Our only preference in a teacher is that German be their native langauge.

My husband and I are both beginners and we would like to be fluent by September of this year. We are going to Europe in September for a month and would enjoy being able to use German most of the time.
We have got the basics such as greetings, numbers, money and the alphabet so we need to move past that to grammer so that we are able to put sentences together.
We would probably like to spend a 2 hour session each week, probably on a Saturday morning as we both work.
We are looking for someone who uses German alot of the time throughout the lesson so that we are forced to pick it up and has a structured approach.

I want to learn German because I am moving there with my fiance, with german as his native language. I want to obtain work there so need to be proficent as possible. I am willing to dedicate as much time as I can and I am holidaying Late july to late august to concentrate on learning. I am currently studying the basics from books and CD's.
As far as the teacher I need, I guess someone who is skilled in communicating and is a good teacher.
