I have just begun learning german on my own. I have been working on it for 6 months. I would like to have a teacher whose native language is german, so I can learn more and learn the proper pronunciation of words and sounds. I am learning german for fun. I plan on taking a trip to germany sometime soon, but I just feel that learning another language is a fun thing to do in free time. I am a parent and volunteer within our school district, and I have been asked to find a Japanese teacher to teach beginning level Japanese to a class of about 15 (fifteen) 6-8 grade students in a public middle school class room. This is a zero period class offered through the Recreation Department (and is not part of the school's core curriculum). The parents pay a fee for the class. The class meets for 50 minutes 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, beginning in late August or early September), The class begins each day at about 7:30 AM and ends at about 8:20 AM. Salary is negotiable. A course curriculum has been established and is available for the hired teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to expand a growing Japanese program!
