I have taken French courses in high school which have given me the basics. I'm looking to learn more grammar for spoken French, I know words, but can't put them together properly to form a sentence.
My boyfriend is from Quebec and his family speaks minimal to no English, so I would like to be able to communicate more with them as well as him, so I can practice more. I have been to Quebec once and found if very difficult, I thought knowing words would be okay but it was much more difficult than I thought.
I would like weekly sessions of 2 hours, I'm not sure how many weeks, I believe that's where I would look for some feedback from the instructor.

I would like to learn French in order to be considered a greater asset when I begin applying for government work. My proficiency level is very beginner. I remember a few things from grade 9 French but that was 8 years ago. I will need particular improvement on pronunciation but all areas will need help. I would like to dedicate at least 1-2 hours once a week to lessons. I am looking for someone who will be patient, friendly and willing to help me learn the language properly so that I can advance my career. I would also appreciate it if the teacher would be willing to come to my house for lessons.

I have a basic knowledge of French. I spent a summer in Quebec City as a teenager on a French immersion program and I lived in the French part of Switzerland for a month last summer, staying with my friend and her family (who did not speak any English).
I am a lawyer in Calgary and have aspirations to practice international law. Being able to communicate in French is an asset for my career goals.
I would like to spend 2 hours per week on French lessons. Small group or invidual lessons are fine.
