I would love to learn Thai. Please tell me how long it could take and how long each lesson is. I am a beginer, i have been trying to learn on my own but it gets bored. I am planning on spending time abroad (in Thai) in 6 months or so, so I would like to be able to have a basic conversation with people there.

Hello, I would like to study Thai in the Chicagoland area. I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Thailand and have been inspired to learn the language more seriously. With a grasp of the language I could communicate with people as well as gain a deeper insight into Thai culture. I have studied on my own for several years (admittedly the learning has been slow). I look forward to learning to converse ( even simply) in Thai. Thank you.
