I have been looking for someone that teaches Croatian for me and my husband. My husband's father is from Croatia and he knows the language somewhat. I would consider myself a beginner and my husband knows conversationa l basics. It would be ideal to be speaking the language by our next trip to CRoatia to visit his family, sometime next summer. I am interested in learning the Serbian Croatian language. I have many Serbian friends and have been exposed to their language for many years now. Recently I have found myself beginging to understand some of their language and am interested in learning it myself. I am mostly interested in learning to speak and understand rather than read and write. I would like to have private lessons and would be able to dedicate one to two days a week. I am wanting to speak croatian to get closer to my partners family. Her family speaks the language at home, and i have always wanted to speak the language, spend time in the country and learn/live the culture. I have no experience speaking the language, but really want to be able to have a good conversation. I want to be able to have 1 class a week with regular home work and a good lesson plan that will help me learn fast, maybe with the help of audio.
