Right now, my primary reason is that my fiance and I will get married in April 2012. I would like to learn the language to be able to communicate with his family and friends better. Later on, when we decide that it's time to go back and live in Germany, it will be to my advantage if I would be speaking fluent in Germany.
I have been memorising phrases. I would say my proficiency is beginner.
I wish to improve my grammar, conversationa l skills and comprehension . I would like to be able to read articles and watch movies in German language soon.
An hour every other day is what I feel I'd be able to dedicate for the lessons.
I would like the lessons to be structured yet practical. I think it is important if the teacher is fluent in English as this is the medium of communication we'll be using for learning.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am seeking a Chinese Mandarin teacher for my 8 year old son. He has been taking lessons for the past four years. I have only taken 2 semesters. He has a very good pronounciatio n and ear for the tones. He can also read and write (simplified) for his age level. We just moved to Abu Dhabi from the US and feel it is important for him to continue learning Chinese as a second language. I'm learning Chinese mostly on my own so I can understand what he is saying and also so I can communicate with my Chinese co-workers and friends. He needs improvement in conversation. Several times a week or more would be the amount of time required.
