Prior to our moving to China, my son participated in a partial immersion Spanish education program. From kindergarten through third grade, he received his math and science instruction completely in Spanish from native Spanish speaking teachers. Since we moved to China in January 2011, he has had no exposure to the Spanish language. I would like a tutor to help him maintain his current knowledge of the language and continue to develop oral and written fluency.

Hello,
I am writing on behalf of my just turned 16 year old daughter, grade 10 student. She has been selected from Rotary International to go abroad to a country of her choice. She chose Ecuador (Galapagos Islands). She already knows French but would also like to learn Spanish and she was particularly interested in South America.
She is an extremely quick learner, high IQ, gifted student, but would be considered a beginner in Spanish.
S he is a very busy girl, but just finishing up her theatre productions and her Royal Conversatory Singing Competitions will be winding up. She is dedicated to her year abroad in Ecuador, leaving this July for a year and we would like to find a top notch teacher to instruct her at least once a week. Preferably Saturdays or Sundays.
I would like to find someone innovate, intelligent, experienced, firm, but with a sense of humour for her. Experience in South American Spanish is preferred.
As she is leaving in July for a year, this request is rather urgent, as this will be her grade 11 year and the last two years make a big difference for university acceptance. She is already a straight A student but has dreams of going abroad to university at a prestigous school. Her concentration is focused on her experience abroad now.
