I am planning to move to Sweden in two years as my partner is Swedish and he lives there. I plan to work in Sweden and as I hold a professional job its important my Swedish language is to a good standard. I have bought books on the Swedish language and my partner is helping, but I feel in order to reach a good level prior to moving to Sweden I need prefessional help from a teacher. I was so pleased when I found this web site as I am so keen to learn. I would like private lesson's if possible as I think I would learn better that way and I am prepared to travel. I work shifts but could manage an hour a week as well as my own private studying. I would need to start at beginner level as I need to master the whole language and currently only know about forty words. As for qualities in a teacher, I just want somebody who can help me as this is so important to me.

My native language is Greek. I have done some private courses of swedish language a few years ago, so I am in begginer level. I need to learn this language in order to extend my career opportunities . I am a doctor and I am interesting on improving academic and fluent swedish. Because I am working as a locum outside London, I can dedicate week-ends for the moment. I would be happy if my teacher could offer me flexible hours and amount of homework, or if we could do all the work during the course.
