I am looking for a laid back teacher, who would make lessons interesting enough to keep me going. I was trying to study Polish myself, but I figured that this is a very hard task, so I think I need a teacher who would give me some incentive. I'm learning Polish, because my wife is Polish and I would like to be able to communicate with her family.

I'm a beginner, although I have a bit of vocabulary. My wife is Polish and I can't speak to many of her relatives. Unfortunately , I can only spend 2-3 hours class time a week now. If that gives me a shot at basic conversation, it's better than the sign-language I use with my father-in-law now. I'm looking for a teacher who will emphasize practical conversation rather than gramatical perfection, at first. Grammar can develop. I need to communicate.

Hello. My name is James Mack and I am interested in learning Polish. I am traveling to Poland in June and am interested in taking a few lessons before I go and possibly continuing after. My girlfriend is Polish and I would like to learn some of her language, and be able to get around while in Poland. I would be interested in an hour lesson once a week and any assignments or reading you could give.

I am a beginner. I want to learn Polish because my wife speaks Polish. I need help with forming simple sentences & conversations . I have used two Polish courses but I can't have a simple conversation in Polish. I will take what ever time is necessary to learn the language. The qualities in the lessons are to be able to learn basic Polish and feel comfortable having a simple conversation.
