We wanted to learn another language because its something different compared to the other basic languages other people like to learn. Our level would be beginner and we would dedicate as much time as needed to master this language completely and entirely. The qualities we are looking for in our teacher is that they're patient, kind but strict and successful in perfecting us in this language.

I am interested in learning Japanese, Korean, and in time, Mandarin Chinese. I have always been interested in Eastern Asian culture and would like to be able to understand and communicate in these languages.
In all three languages, I am relatively a beginner. I can read and write in Hangul, however, my understanding of the language is limited to a few phrases. In Japanese, I am able to have a basic conversation (Hello, nice to meet you, how are you, who, what), but I can read and write very little of the language. I have had a few Mandarin classes in the past, but I am still a beginner; I can only read and write three characters, and can have a VERY basic conversation in the language.

I know a few phrases in Korean picked up on line but I would like to be fluent in Korean. I'm a broke college student who intends to teach English in Korea and although I've been told I don't need to speak to Korean to do this I want to be fluent. I pick up languages very quickly, I can't afford a lot. I'm living at home to save money for college and I share a car with my mother and we both work full time. I work at Pizza Hut so my hours vary. I want to learn everything about Korean - speaking it, writing it. I am currently taking a break from college until January and would devote every spare moment toward learning it, but again, money is an issue for me.
