hello, i and an american friend live in philadelphia and are both interested in travelling to you for two person lessons in thai.....we are mainly looking to be able to converse and understand thai as we are both frequent visitors to thailand and, also do charity work while in the country 3 months a year. Both of our proficiency levels are beginner .Both of us have busy scedules but, would like to dedicate 2-3 hours a week just enough to be able to communicate in thai better, qualities we both look for in a teacher are patience and understanding . I am a PhD student at Temple University and am looking to continue my study of Japanese language during the summer months.
Last summer I participated in an intensive summer study at The Ohio State University.
We used Japanese: The Spoken Language level I texts, by Noda/Jorden.
I am interested in a private tutorial session with a native speaker. I would like to meet at least two times per week, my schedule is relatively flexible.

I have taken an intro course for Arabic (MSA) which was ten weeks long, other than that I have no experience with the Arabic Language.
I am interested in learning Arabic because of my chosen career path, which is in Int'l Relations specializing in Middle East relations and human rights. I want to volunteer in the Middle East and I would like to have a basic understanding of Arabic before I do that.
I need lessons on speaking and writing Arabic and I'd like to have one lesson per week at an hour per lesson.

Beginner (no previous knowledge/bla nk slate)
I want to learn the language to broaden my mind. I'm already fluent in English. I grew up in a Polish speaking household. I also took 4 years of German in high school. I have a love of languages, which is why I would like to be fluent/conver sational in 5 languages by the age of 30/32. I also want to travel and/or live abroad.
I' d like to dedicate as much time as I have free to the language.
I would like to learn the language from the ground up: speech, reading, writing. Usage of books/materia ls is plus.
I need a teacher who is patient, funny, and has the ability to create a conducive learning environment.
