- I am learning spanish for both career advancement and personal reasons.

I am a Masters student at the University of Alberta and I need to take a second language proficiency exam in order to graduate. I took Spanish in high school and in my first year of undergrad and so I would place myself in the intermediate level. I need improvement in grammar, conversation, and conjugating in different tenses. I would like to have one hour lesson, once a week.

I have taken a first-year Spanish course at Carleton University and would like to pursue my learning independently . I need improvement in both theory and practice. I am able to pick up the language by myself but perform best with a tutor's support. My plan is to take a lesson once a week with a dynamic and patient teacher, and practice daily.

I am learning spanish so that i can open my mind and broaden my opportunities in life. I would also like to speak a second language so that I will have an extra edge on other individuals seeking employment. I am currently in spanish 20 at Central Memorial High and am looking to review and really engrave what I have learned into my mind. I was hoping to spend a few hours in the next week or so to ensure that I recieve a good mark on my final test. I have always wanted to learn spanish. I am doing it for my own personal reasons. I enjoy traveling and would like to be able to have conversations in spanish.
I am a beginning. I know a few words but that's about it.
I need improvement in all areas - as I am a beginning my knowledge of spanish is very small.
