I honestly speak zero Japanese at the moment and would have to being from zero.
I am willing to spend as much time as necessary and as much time as the teacher is willing to give.
I am very open and ready to learn and want a teacher willing and ready to teac, with a lot of patience of course since I am completely new to the language.
Apart that I believe this is a great career advancemnt, I would love to learn Japanese just because.
It is a nice language and I find it quite amazing.

I am moving to Japan on September 28th to work as an English teacher and so I would like to learn the basics of Japanese before I go.
I am a complete beginner.
I would like an introduction to all areas of the language (written, spoken etc)
I would like to do 2-3 classes a week (about 10 in total) between now and the time I leave, with each class being about an hour.
I would like an experienced teacher who won't mind working at a fast pace. I speak French and Spanish and so I am used to learning foreign languages. Therefore, I am prepared to work very hard over the next month.

Hello, I am learning Japanese as I am now living in Osaka for at least the next 9 months and would like to obtain good conversationa l skills and at least a basic reading ability while I am here. Long term I may go to Universtity as a mature student and try for a degree in Japanese with a view to possibly becoming a translator. I would descibe myself as beginner level but would like to acheive a pass in JLPT level 5 in the December test and would like the lessons to concentrate on that. I would be prepared to dedicate at least 3-4 hours of class room time a day and about another 1-2 hours self studing as well.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is someone who is genuinely passionate about teaching the lanuage and not just following a script, and someone who is patient and understands how difficult a lanuage it is to grasp for a Westener.
