Hello. My name is James Mack and I am interested in learning Polish. I am traveling to Poland in June and am interested in taking a few lessons before I go and possibly continuing after. My girlfriend is Polish and I would like to learn some of her language, and be able to get around while in Poland. I am eager to learn Polish in order to converse with friends and family. I would be beginning from scratch, because I have no previous experience with the language. Conversation would be my main focus along with grammar. I would like to take in- person lessons once a week for an hour- hour and a half in conjunction with additional time spent on practice and take home work. I would be looking for a teacher who would gear the lessons toward conversation with present day slangs and patient since i am a begginer.
