Hello,
I am the parent and a five year old student who is beginning school. I am seeking a teacher/tutor to work with my child and teach him spanish. My reasons for doing so are so that he becomes a well rounded student and learns to communicate with people from other parts of the world. I chose spanish because the spanish-speak ing population in the U.S. is increasing and I would like to prepare him for the future. I realize that this is a pretty diffioult task to undertake. I am looking for someone who has taught children before and who already has a successful plan of how to approach this. I was assuming that 2, 1 hour long sessions per week may be good. I am not experienced at this so my assumption may be wrong. I am looking for guidance from an experienced professional as to if this is even a good idea. I have no idea what the typical cost would be so if someone could tell me that would help.

I am a beginner, I use Rosetta Stone and on line cds which I listen to in my car. I can say sentences like I want to go to the store..ect. but find it does not help much when actually talking to people. I am a photographer and would love to be able to talk to people better than 'look here' Let me know if you can help.
