I am a beginner who has lived in Oman for the last year. I am looking to learn to read, write, and speak conversationa l Arabic. Ideally I would like to have two sessions each week that are one hour long each. I will study in between lessons. I will be in Muscat for two more years and would like to continue these lessons over the next two years. I am looking for a teacher who can commit to at least one year. I would like my teacher to be someone who will push me to learn as much as possible.

Well, I just need to start up with the lanugage. I need to learn arabic for job purposes. Dedicating time depends entirely upon the availability of the tutor and since i am working in a call center environment which requires time shiftings that's why I'd need to customise arabic learning classes from time to time. Of course the rosters are gonna be pre planned.
I believe that every one who knows well can't always deliver well so that teacher has to be the one who really has the art of delivering sequentially whatever he knows, in a best possible way.
