I am interested in learning spanish just out of personal interest. I am a total beginner with no previous knowledge of spanish. I prefer to take classes once a week, 1 or 2 hours per class, either weekday evenings or weekends. I am looking for a teacher who is friendly and flexible in time schedule, and it would be best if he/she has previous experience of teaching high school/middle school students or courses.

I am currently looking forward to start freshman year in University in the United States and it would be helpful that I can begin my spanish learning in the summer 2011. Obviously I am a beginner who only knows how to mumble couple of words. I would like to dedicate 2-5 hours per week having tutoring with a private lesson. I would first of all want them to teach in english, I would also like the teacher to be patient and good at explaning grammar.

I am looking to leave my full-time employment as a business consultant to study Mandarin full-time. I am interested in learning in the following cities: Shanghai, Bangkok, Manila.
I am looking for an individual with which I can schedule time with every day Monday through Friday. Initial plan is 3 hours per day up to 5 hours per day depending on the curriculum developed.
My level is basic at this point.
My goals are to read, write, speak at an intermediate level or beyond and be able to take the HSK exam within the next 12 months.
