I am a muslim who like all muslims what to learn the arabic language read, write and speak fluently. I can read and write arabic at a beginners level, a memorized around 500 words in arabic, also almost a juz of the quran. I looking for a tutor and or small class setting. My profiency is beginner. I want to learn to improve myself and I'm willing to spend as much time to learn the language extremely well. There are enough Russian speakers in the Philadelphia area to communicate with, and in fact I work with three. I'm looking for an instructor that will challenge me and encourage me through the hard times of learning the language.

Originally the idea came from my 8yr old son. He wants to learn Chinese. My children go to school with all different nationalities , so this is probably where the idea originated. I would like to learn the language primarily because I want to know what my child is saying to me. Secondary reason is for business, I am a librarian.
We will need instruction from a beginner level. We can neither commit alot of time or money to the endeavor. My children go to the library after school so the instruction for them would take place there. I work at a different library, in the same neighborhood, so my instruction would take place there. We can only dedicate an hour twice a week, Monday and Wednesday evenings.
We are looking for an instructor that has alot of patience,comp assion and dedication. We want to learn the language to fluency, not just for basic conversation. So depending on fee this will be a long term commitment for us.
