I do not speak one word of Nepali, so I am a complete beginner. Since I will be moving to Nepal in about six months, I would like to have at least a basic understanding of the language before I leave. I would dedicate as much time as is required, but ideally I would like to meet in person two or three times a week. As far as a tutor goes, I am looking for someone who is patient, and has a flexible schedule.

I am a beginner with some experience learning Tagalog. I am just now completing my first semester of Tagalog study, but the second semester course does not fit into my schedule. I would like to continue to learn so that I will be able to take the third level Tagalog course next fall, which will fulfill the language requirement for my linguistics degree.
I am looking for about 2 hours of instruction per week. I would like to meet a teacher who is knowledgeable of grammatical terms and has teaching experience.
